These Terms Of Service are an agreement between you and iTutor LTD ("iTutor", "we", "us"). They cover itutor.world, our family and tutor portals, and our tutoring services. By buying lessons, accepting a free class, signing an agreement, or using our website or services, you agree to these terms. If you are signing up a child, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and you accept these terms for yourself and your child.

Our Services

iTutor provides private 1-on-1 tutoring, online in Klassroom (our online classroom) and in person where tutors are available near you. Tutors are independent contractors, not employees of iTutor. We match your child with a tutor who fits your schedule as closely as we can, but we cannot promise a specific tutor or time. We do our best to help your child learn, but we cannot guarantee any particular grade, score or result.

Plans And Payment

Plans. Your plan, the lesson length, the number of sessions and the price are shown to you before you pay and in the agreement you sign. For prices, please call us at 1-844-505-7946.
Fees. You agree to pay the plan price and any other fees we told you about, such as a registration fee. Registration, membership and processing fees are non-refundable.
Ways to pay. We accept card, Zelle, PayPal and Cash App. We may send you a secure payment link (Pay By Link) by text or email. Please only pay using links and payment details that come from iTutor.
Auto Pay. If you choose Auto Pay, you authorize iTutor to charge your saved card or account the plan amount on each billing date, until you cancel. We will tell you in advance if the amount or date of your recurring charge changes.
Declined payments. If a payment fails, we will contact you with a way to fix it. We may try again after some types of declines. Sessions may be held, and your plan paused, until your account is up to date.
Recurring plans. A monthly, weekly or every-other-week plan renews automatically until you cancel.
Ending your plan. To end a recurring plan, contact us at least 14 days before your next billing date. Text or email us at 1-844-505-7946 or support@itutor.world.
Refunds. Registration, membership and processing fees are non-refundable. If you were charged by mistake or twice, or you paid for sessions we were not able to give you, you may ask for a refund within 30 days of the charge by texting or emailing us. We will answer your request within 5 business days. If we approve a refund, we will send it to the way you paid within 3 to 5 business days, depending on your bank or financial institution, and your bank or card company may need extra time to show it. If you have a question about a charge, please contact us first and we will work to fix it.
Ending a plan early. If you end a plan before its term is finished, an early cancellation fee of $50 applies when you end a plan without giving us at least 14 days' notice before your next billing date, or before its term is finished. No fee applies to a plan you have not paid for. We will tell you the fee before you cancel and before you are charged.

Cancelling And Rescheduling A Session

To cancel or reschedule a session, text 1-844-505-7946 or email support@itutor.world at least 24 hours before it starts.
With 24 hours' notice and a confirmed reply from us, we will reschedule the class.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or the student does not show up, the class is lost: it is deducted from your plan and is not refunded or rescheduled.
Illness or injury. If a student cannot attend because of illness or injury, send us a doctor's note within 2 days (48 hours) of the missed class. A valid note comes from a licensed doctor or clinic (a telehealth visit is fine), and shows the student's full name, the date of the missed class, and that the student was too ill or injured to attend. Appointment reminders and routine check-ups do not count. When we receive a valid note, we reschedule the class instead of deducting it. Without a note, the late-cancellation rule above applies.
If the student is late, the lesson still ends at its scheduled time and the remaining time is completed.
If the tutor is late or misses a class, the class is made up or rescheduled.
If a tutor is not available, we will find a suitable replacement tutor or change the schedule with you. Asking for a different tutor is not a reason for cancellation or refund.

Online Sessions And Klassroom

Online lessons happen in Klassroom. Sessions may be recorded for quality, safety and to help your child review. Recordings are used as described in our Privacy Policy. Please use a quiet space with a working device and internet connection. Please do not record, copy or share a session or a tutor's materials without our written permission.

In-Person Sessions

For in-person lessons, we ask that a parent, guardian or other adult be present or reachable at the lesson location. You agree to provide a safe, suitable place to learn. Tutors may share a check-in and check-out location with us for safety. We may end a session right away if anyone's safety is at risk.

Text Messages

By giving us your mobile number you agree that iTutor may text you about your account and lessons. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts and HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Your Account And Conduct

Keep your sign-in details private and tell us right away if you think someone else used your account. You agree to treat tutors and staff with respect, to give us accurate information, and not to misuse our website or services, interfere with them, or try to get around them. Students and families agree not to hire or pay iTutor tutors directly outside iTutor for tutoring they met through iTutor.

Our Content

The iTutor name, logo, website, lesson materials and software belong to iTutor or its licensors. You may use them only for your own tutoring with iTutor.

No Warranty And Limit Of Liability

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, iTutor does not make warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including about results or about the quality of any tutor's work, although we use reasonable efforts to maintain the quality of our tutors and services. Our service may be interrupted from time to time. To the fullest extent the law allows, iTutor is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new date. If a change affects what you pay or your plan, we will tell you before it applies to you. Using iTutor after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

iTutor LTD is a Malaysian company and our families are in the United States. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia and the laws of the State of Texas, United States. If you take lessons in the United States, the laws of the State of Texas apply to these terms and to any dispute between you and iTutor about our services. For everything else, including iTutor LTD's own company matters and its work with customers and tutors outside the United States, the laws of Malaysia apply. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the consumer laws of the place where you live.

General

If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, together with the plan agreement you sign and our Privacy Policy, are our whole agreement with you.
